The first role should help resolve the point that is slowing the work down. If the product is waiting for architecture decisions, adding interface development will not solve the problem. If deliveries stop at manual testing, someone who can automate tests may add more value than another person focused on new features.
01
Work may accumulate in definition, design, web or mobile development, testing, infrastructure, data, or business approval. Finding that point makes the choice easier.
02
A senior person can resolve ambiguity and design the solution; a mid-level person moves faster when a clear pattern already exists. It helps to choose the experience level based on uncertainty, not budget alone.
03
The combination should be able to complete one function and prepare it for real use. Adding specialists who all depend on one overloaded reviewer rarely solves the problem.
An online store with frequent problems when publishing updates may not need five new people. It can begin with someone to stabilize integrations, another person to automate tests, and part-time support to improve the publishing process.
